As your NBPL School Liaison Officer (SLO), I am here to help military families by providing educational information on your new community and connect you with a SLO at your next duty station. SLOs are the liaison between command, schools and military families. I provide resources on deployment support, work with commands and schools in the Partnership in Education program, help families navigate the special needs programs in districts, and offer information and support for Post Secondary preparation.
Dana and NBPL SLO work together to provide support services for our military-connected students through the Military Kids Unite Club. Support services are also offered through the Military Family Life Counselor who is able to provide counseling services for DEERS eligible students.
